Hello! My name is Fahd, and I welcome you to my humble abode
on the Web. This site is in a constant state of flux, so while you
browse, please don't mind incomplete or empty sections, and keep
coming back to see what I have added to the site.
I am currently working as a Visiting Scholar at
the Dependable Systems Lab, at Carnegie
Mellon University' School of Computer Science, in Pittsburgh,
PA. My research interests are in masquerade detection, usability
of human-computer interfaces, and privacy and technology issues.
In May 2002 I graduated from the University of the
South, more popularly known as Sewanee,
with a B.S. in Computer Science. I was born in Pakistan, and have
lived in three of the major cities, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi-Islamabad,
and have also spent time in Gujranwala, Murree, and Mangla. I was
schooled at Garrison Academy in Lahore, and Habib Public School
and the Avicenna School in Karachi, in chronological order.
You are welcome to browse through my site. Leave
me a word at the guestbook if you want, or email me at fahd at cmu
